North Phoenix Robbery Shut Down by Armed Business Owner

Arizona Defensive Gun Use

There are a lot of anti-gun businesses out there. Sadly there are also a lot of successful robberies out there in the world. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if there was an easy way to help avoid billions of dollars lost every year and ensure the safety of more people? Well, thankfully a North Phoenix gold and silver store owner had his own effective solution to this problem. His gun.

The incident occurred at around 2:30 in the afternoon last Friday. According to police reports, 28-year-old Brittany Reid along with a 30-year-old man walked into the gold and silver shop just after the store’s owner himself. Apparently, the two had been waiting for the man as a way to ensure he was the only one they would have to be facing. But just one man is enough sometimes.

As soon as the two entered the store, the 30-year-old man of the pair pulled out a firearm, pointing at the back of the store owner. Little did the pair of criminals realize though that the owner himself had a gun inside his store. And he had a little more training than either of these jokers.

As soon as the store owner realized what was going on he lunged behind the store counter and pulled his firearm, managing to shoot the armed criminal in the leg. As Brittany Reid saw this, she planned to bold out of the store, but once again the owner was a step ahead. See his gold and silver shop was fixed with magnetic locks on the doors that only he could buzz open.

So, in the end, the three sat and uncomfortably waited for the police to arrive. Which they did, thereupon sending the injured party to the hospital where he could heal up and meet his partner in jail.

As for the store owner, it appears that no charges will be filed against him for his defense of himself and his store.
